Maine: Day One…

The route to Maine and vacation took me to places that I had never seen in New Hampshire…driving back roads was wonderful…and travelling through part of the Great North Woods and White Mountains Region was lovely!

Arrived in Maine around 7:00 PM and headed directly to Eden Village Cottages and home for the next six days – ourcabin

This was the cabin – cute, isn’t it?  And here is the inside:

Cute little kitchen and beyond that was a shower and bathroom…loved the shower  – it felt like you were in a nice rain storm…kitchen came with dishes and pots and pans…everything you might need to fix a meal!

Living room complete with a pull out sofa bed, television and a dining table over on the right side…

And, the bedroom – there was a dresser on the left side of the bed – but, I didn’t take a photo…

So, once the luggage was in the door – time for dinner at Rosalie’s Pizza in downtown Bar Harbor!  It was very good – had a Chicken Caesar Salad with the best dressing I’ve had in ages and some garlic bread!  Nice light dinner!  Then hit the bed and slept really well!

Stay tuned for Day Two…

    That’s a cute little place to stay. Was that inland or near the coast?

    Cute cottage! There was a resturaunt Andy and I ate at in Bar Harbour that was on the main street downtown and they had a large area right off the sidewalk to eat outside. I can’t remember the name, but I think about the food often, it was very good! Maybe you went there?

    I love Maine! Bet you’ll have a wonderful vacation in spite of the rain. Reminds me of one Bill & I had in Ogunquit, ME one year;
    Lovely place! Have fun.
