Counting down…

Yep…Counting down the days until Saturday – when I get to spend my birthday with some friends – knitting, chatting, and eating good food.  I’m ready!

I don’t know what we have done in New Hampshire – but, the weather the last few days has been grand.  Not that it is warm – but, it hasn’t snowed – and the skies are blue, blue!!!

Got some nice mail today – it was a trade.  I traded some knitting patterns for some yarn…

Moda Dea Dream in the Candy colorway 93 yards in each skein

Moda Dea Dream in Tiffany colorway – 93 yards per skein

Six skeins each –  I am thinking two really pretty lacy scarves…

Neat yarn! I can’t wait to see how they knit up. We are suppose to be getting 6 to 12″ of snow starting tomorrow afternoon. How about you, any snow in the forcast up near you?

They are saying we are in a “blizzard” area with the possibility of 12 – 24 inches of snow. I keep saying, “NO…you are mistaken…this is not for southern Delaware. It is for Sara up in NH as they have the right equipment to deal with this kind of storm!” *sigh*

    Happy almost birthday!!!

    That yarn is lovely!

The New Hampshire Weavers Guild meets 6 times a year in Concord (so it’s centrally located). About 85-100 people attend each meeting.

The day is usually like this: 10-12 workshops, lunch/business meeting, 1:15-2:30 or so an afternoon speaker. There’s a weaving library, tables with yarn for sale and lots of weaving talk.

The next set of meetings will be March, April and May. (Then we take summer off). The website is Check it out!!!
