More Pillowcases…

I’m still at it…making pillowcases…

Making two of this one – one for me and another as a gift.  I just loved the retro looking (translates to “hippie”) fabric…

I feel in love with that beautiful flowered fabric at my quilt store.  I knew it would not work in a quilt unless you were using 12″ blocks of it – so, I made myself a pillowcase out of it…I love it!

Made two of these – one as a gift – and another one for a neighbor who wanted to buy it…

Two of these were made – one for me and one as a gift!

Another case of falling in love with a fabric – this time it was the cuff fabric – so, I made myself another pillowcase…

So that’s what I’ve been sewing – what about you???

Me sew? Can’t sew a stitch but I can bake. If I could sew I would probably skinny:-) Not too hot here today on the beach with a nice breeze but way to many jelly fish and people getting stung so we just sat and read a bit. Hope it has cooled down a bit in your area too.

Love the pillowcases — and your fabric choices (especially the first photo!). In the summer, I don’t have much time to sew — because I’m too busy out in the garden — but I have some ideas in mind, come fall.

I love these! I have to confess that I don’t do much sewing these days because my sewing machine is kaput.

I also wanted to tell you that the very first time I tried to grow beets they were a no show too. I later read that the seeds have to be really packed into the soil. I did better with them when I did that. Is it too late to give them another try for a fall harvest?
