F. Scott Fitzgerald…

The Great Gatsby is by far my most favorite book by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

And, it is so fun to realize that my library – The Fiske Free Library – has bought quite a few copies to give to patrons interested in reading it and coming to the discussion some time in September.

Not only do we have the book – but, also The Penguin Critical Studies of the book by Kathleen Parkinson.

We will be discussing the book and seeing clips from the movie…1920s dress is even being encouraged.  It promises to be a fun night!

The library hopes to do something like this about four times a year – especially after the great turnout for To Kill A Mockingbird.

Sigh. The Great Gatsby. One of my favorites! Kalamazoo (where I live) has had great success with a “community read-along” — really a fun thing to do!
