400 Mile Challenge – Weeks 2 and 3

The exercising is coming along – and I am working at my own level to build up my strength and stamina.  Have to say the first two days on the bike  were shall we say tough on me.  My poor legs hurt – but, I went back and didn’t let it stop me.  Now they don’t hurt as much…

Week 2:

Jan 9 – Walked a half hour = 1 mile

Jan 13 – Walked a half hour = 1 mile

Jan 15 – Rode stationary bike = 1 mile

Total  for week = 3 miles

Week 3

Jan 16 – Rode stationary bike = 1 mile

Jan 18 – Rode stationary bike = 1 mile

Jan 20 – Rode stationary bike = 1 mile

Jan 21 – Rode stationary bike = 1 mile

Total for Week  = 4 miles

Grand total:   8 miles

Week 1:  1 mile

Week 2:  3 miles

Week 3:  4 miles

Ok, sounds like another spring walk in Boston will do you good. I think we did something like 12-14 miles that day.

Oh, Sara! Good for you! It’s really hard to get yourself in shape and to the point where you LIKE to exercise and it feels good. Hang in there and give yourself a huge celebratory HURRAH! You’re off to a grand start. 🙂
