And…here we go!

1. Up, up and away.

2. A lot of miserable colds are going around this winter.

3. Coats and scarves, mittens and boots: The attire of winter!

4. It has been a long, long time since I got a nice back rub.

5. I’m thinking about my upcoming birthday (Feb 6) knowing that it will be a lot of fun to spend it with my knitting friends.

6. To be or not to be – that is the question.

7. And as for the weekend, Friday night I spent with my knitting buddies in my apartment building, Saturday my plans included stopping by the quilt shop for a second and getting some groceries and Sunday, I want to just chill around the house and get some things done (like laundry)!

Snow Humor…

My friend, Sue, sent me the following in my e-mail today…I just had to share it…Don’t know where she found it – but, it certainly made me smile.

1. So many of us never really stop to enjoy life.

2. Life is good even in hardship.

3. Those who are accepting of others who live different lifestyles are sometimes in the minority.

4. True happiness is waiting quietly.

5. Light is in both the mind creating clarity and in the heart creating hope.

6. Appreciation of all that is ordinary makes for a happier life.  It’s not always about the extreme things – but, the simple things.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to hanging out with friends knitting in the lobby,  tomorrow my plans include working on unpacking even more boxes in my apartment and Sunday, I want to stay in because it is supposed to be frigid – and I’d rather be inside where it is warm!
